The
ISPRS Geospatial Week 2025 was held in Dubai from 6 to 11 April, organized by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) in cooperation with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre. ISPRS Geospatial Week is a major international scientific event that brings together experts in
photogrammetry, remote sensing, and spatial information sciences, providing a platform for sharing the latest research, technologies, and applications.
The Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics was represented by
Dr. Małgorzata Jarząbek-Rychard, who presented research on automated 3D building modeling based on laser scanning data, conducted in collaboration with
3DOM - Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Italy; and
M.Sc. Amin Gholami, who presented work on the generalization of 2D geometry into 1D and 0D features, carried out in cooperation with a research team from
TU Delft, Netherlands.
We are pleased to share that the next edition of this prestigious event -
ISPRS Geospatial Week 2027 - will be held in Poland in Warsaw and is co-organized by members of our Institute.
